About Aaron
Aaron Yost
- 25 Years Classroom Experience - teaching 8th-, 10th-, and 11th- grade English, AP English Language and Composition, Methods of Teaching English, and the Research Capstone for English Education majors
- Former Assistant Director for Writing Across Montana State University
- Experience in navigating a changing political climate with youth
- Currently teaches College Writing at Montana State University
- Co-operates Raw Heart Writing
- Serves on the Yellowstone Writing Project leadership team
- Serves on the board of the Unreserved program
- Orchestrated a high school credit recovery program
- Built a volunteer Writing Center and Writing tutor program
Aaron works closely with administrators, curriculum directors, and teachers to customize workshops and 1-1 coaching to fit each school’s and every students’ growth needs.
He works to build long-term relationships in order to invest the time necessary to assess literacy challenges and bring about real and lasting change.
